eResearch | In this InvestorIntel video, Chris Thompson of eResearch interviews Peter Clausi, the President and CEO of CBLT Inc. (TSXV:CBLT) , on the acquisition of the Shatford Lake Lithium Property.
Shatford Lake is located in south-eastern Manitoba, near the Ontario border, and roughly 130 kilometres from Winnipeg.
The property is in the Winnipeg River-Cat Lake pegmatite field and only five kilometres southwest of the Tanco Mine.
Pegmatite is an igneous rock that can be a source of minerals including spodumene, a lithium-rich ore.
The Tanco Mine is an underground caesium and tantalum mine, owned and operated by Sinomine and has the largest known deposit of pollucite and is also the world’s largest producer of caesium.
Limited drilling was carried out in the area in 1968 and CBLT is making exploration plans for Shatford Lake this year as the management believes the property to be highly prospective for lithium.
