Seasonality Trends – For September 2019

This Month’s seasonality report shows that there are two additions (Energy and Natural Gas), two deletions (Real Estate and Oil) in September, and three remaining (VIX, U.S. Dollar Index and Gold).

Seasonality refers to particular time frames when stocks/sectors/indices are subjected to and influenced by recurring
tendencies that produce patterns that are apparent in the investment valuation. A seasonality study preferably uses at least 10 years of data.

The chart in the Seasonality Trends report shows the periods of seasonal strength for 28 market segments (stocks/sectors/indices). Each bar will indicate a buy and sell date based upon the optimal holding period for each market sector/index.

VIX From: July 18 Until: October 12
U.S. Dollar Index From: August 2 Until: November 22
Energy From: September 26 Until: December 22
Real Estate From: July 1 Until: September 19
Gold From: July 27 Until: October 10
Oil From: February 7 Until: September 22
Natural Gas From: September 1 Until: December 18
