Today’s Mystery Company is Hudson Resources Inc. (TSXV: HUD; OTC: HUDR.F), a Canadian junior mining exploration company operating in Greenland in the rare earths space. The “tout” is based on the continued fall-out that could escalate in the USA-China trade squabble. China controls the rare earth metals sector, so any non-Chinese company that owns or is exploring/developing rare earths is bound to receive a lot of investment speculation. The tout’s headline is: What’s “Trump’s Secret Rare Earth Stash?” Mr. Gumshoe goes on to analyze the teaser clues which eventually lead to the same tout for this company that occurred a few years back.
Travis also provides some alternate companies that are also in the rare earths space that may be not quite so speculative as the touted company. These are: (1) Lynas Corp. Ltd. ((ASX:LYC; OTC:LYSC.F), which has a mine in Australia and a refining facility in Malaysia; and (2) Greenland Minerals (ASX: GGG; OTC: GDLN.F), which has an exploration project in Greenland at the feasibility stage.
